IT'S OKAY TO BE DIFFERENT - CHARACTER UNIT

When I was sitting down to plan out my next few weeks, I realized that a bunch of my boggy buddies have provided me with all of the MLK ditties a girl could ask for.  So, I decided to jump ship and run with a parallel idea that I incorporated into the mix this time last year . . . It's okay to be different!

This collection of activities focuses on character traits, team building, and acceptance.  I have found it to be a very nice complement to my Martin Luther King Jr. studies.

This mini pack includes a class book, writing activities, character posters, center ideas, whole class ditties, and more.

Last year I made the It's Okay to Be Different Class Book with my kiddos and they did such a good job with it.  They loved sharing "unique" things about themselves and it quickly became one of the most read books in our classroom.

My favorite page of the book (hands down) belonged to the sweetie in the purple . . . "It's okay to have a scab on your face."  Priceless.

I have included one of the class book page options from the packet as a free download - thank you for visiting me today.  You can snag it down below.  If you are interested in reading more about my It's Okay to Be Different Packet, CLICK HERE.

Thank you Jessica Stanford and Teaching in a Small Town for the great graphic/font support :)

Alright, I am off to shower and make copies for tomorrow.  My copy count is through the roof . . . gonna beg the hubs to take me to his business to make copies after the football game.  The joys of having a man who works for his dad :)  Good luck tomorrow my friends.
