I LEFT MY HEART IN . . . . KENTUCKY!

Holy President's Weekend my friends!!!  And, what a long and wonderful weekend it was. Normally I would keep the ins and outs of my girl trips to myself, but I have a feeling a few of you might get a kick out of these deets :)

Recognize any of these lovely women?  I thought you might!!!!  Say hello to Katie King (Queen of the First Grade Jungle), Susan Moran (T.G.I.F), and Stephanie Stewart (Falling Into First).  After being friends for months and months online, we decided to make it official and meet in person.  Okay, so I did spend a few hours with Steph and Suz face to face in Vegas last summer, but we had to add Katie to the mix and amp things up a bit.  So, we all flew to Louisville, KY for the weekend.  We stayed in the coolest condo overlooking the river, ate oodles of junk food, and laughed until we cried.

The view from our condo . . . THANK YOU Linda and Frank!

But the fun didn't stop there.  It just so happened that we were only an hour and a half away from a monumental meet up.  Another group of my all-time favorite friends were matching up in Cincy, Ohio on Saturday night.  So, we jumped in the car and headed north!

We freaked out on the cold as all get out streets of Cincy when we first saw each other!
It even started to snow as we hugged :)

Steph, Me, Monica, Squirrels, Tessa, Nicole, Susan, Megan, Jessica,
Katie, Michelle, and Hadar!
Rock Bottom Brewery!
I heart this crew to the moon and back :)
So excited to meet this girl . . . Jess and I started blogging on the very SAME day!
Can't thank her enough for being there with me every step of the way!!!
After the yummy and oh so chatty dinner with the mind blowing big crew, the KY foursome said our goodbyes (sniff . . . sniff) and took the long trek "home." Then, we stayed up until 3 in the morning chit chattin' about life and work.  We managed to slip in one more meal and a round of stories before sweet Katie dropped Steph, Suz, and I off at the airport yesterday . . . thus marking the end of an absolutely magical ride.

Please don't go, buddies . . . .
So, that was my weekend folks.  Fast and furious, but one that I will never forget.  I love ALL of you ladies . . . you've truly changed my life forever and I am so thankful to call you my friends!!!
